REGIONAL CIVILIZATIONAL LANDSCAPES: INTRODUCTION INTO NOTION AND RECONSTRUCTION ATTEMPT

Abstract. The author for the first time suggests the idea of the notion civilizational landscape introduction into the methodological approaches of classical researches, presents his own conception of regional civilizational landscapes, and by the example of the reconstruction of Ural and Siberia regions formation in the XVIth-XXth centuries determines salt-producing, fur-producing, mining and gas and oil producing regional micro-civilizations, each of which formed its own unique civilizational landscape expressed in specific production and settlement systems.
