MILITARY PERSONNEL AND MILITARY SERVICE VETERANS ORGANIZATIONS IN MODERN RUSSIA AS POLITICS SUBJECTS

Abstract. The author considers the ideological and political orientations of military personnel and military service veterans organizations in modern Russia (Afghanistan Veterans Federation, Officers Federation, Russian Paratroopers Federation, etc.), and comes to the conclusion that they adhere to different political orientations reflecting the major tendencies in forces alignment on the political proscenium of modern Russia, but at the same time organizations of conservative nature dominate among them.
