TATARS' LULLABY AND GAME SONGS: GENESIS OF CONNECTION

Abstract. The author considers one of the reasons of the tonal relationship of lullaby and game songs of Tatars from different regions of Russia, shows that the analysis and comparison of the verbal text versions of the game The Bear and the Wolf, lullabies, other folklore samples and ethnographic data involvement allow revealing the genetic connection of these genres with wedding ceremony, which pre-conditioned their similarity, mentions that such approach is of interest to the researchers of melodic cliches and combinatoric character of folk songs trying to find their genetic basis, which is by far the little-studied problem, and uses the material of her own field expeditions and the fund of Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan.
