"RELIGION OF EARTH SUPREMACY": ISLAM IN MIRROR OF RUSSIAN RELIGIOUS PHILOSOPHY

Abstract. The author reveals the most typical features of Islam perception in the Russian religious-philosophical thought at the end of the XIX th – the beginning of the XX th century, considers the images of Islam and its spiritual culture in the works of such philosophers as V. S. Solov'ev and L. A. Tikhomirov, and pays special attention to the influence of these philosophers’ views on the modern processes of intercultural and interreligious interaction.
