Abstract. The author considers the structure of ethnocultural identity. The main components of this structure are self-consciousness, self and ethnocultural tradition, determining the life world of man. Self-consciousness is an exegesis generating personal senses in the context of ethnocultural norms and values. Such exegesis is associated with the regularization of cultural senses in the context of life practice.
