PERIODICALS OF STALINGRAD REGION IN AGITATIONALPROPAGANDISTIC ACTIVITY DURING GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR

Abstract. The author considers periodicals as one of the means of the agitational-propagandistic activity of the authorities and governing bodies during the Great Patriotic War, pays special attention to the consideration of the regional newspaper "Stalingrad Truth" - the leading periodical within this region; using archival documents gives the examples of agitational-propagandistic influence on the population with the help of newspapers, and also reveals the problems in the work of local printing houses and the problems of Stalingrad region population supply with periodicals.
