QUANTITATIVE AND QUALITATIVE GROUNDS OF POLITICAL REPRESENTATION DYSFUNCTION IN TRANSITIONAL SOCIETIES

Abstract. The author discusses one of the political system functional directions – political representation, pays particular attention to the research of political representation dysfunction as a reason of transitional political systems destabilization, as the main concepts of the analysis considers "political party" and "party system", determines the quantitative and qualitative parameters of party systems dysfunctions, and concludes that the prerequisites of political representation dysfunctions in transitional systems are associated with party systems low efficiency and fragmentation.
