PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS DOCUMENTATION IN THE JOCHIDS’ STATE IN THE XIV TH CENTURY: BILLS, WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS

Abstract. The author considers the historical sources data on cash payments used in the economy of "Golden Horde" in the XIV th century, shows that various types of payments were widely used for the maintenance of the powerful, multi-structured economy in the Jochids’ state, mentions that paper money was applied for payment in cash, but it was not widely used in the Empire of Jochids, the circulation of the bills of various kinds was actively applied, as well as warranties and payment demand orders, and basing on the sources tells about the extensive use of payment transactions documentation.
