AXIOLOGICAL GROUNDS OF DESIGN IN CONCEPTION OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract. The article considers the axiological grounds of design and its ability to achieve sustainable development and the formation of the ecological culture, consumption culture, value ??and world-view attitudes of society and the individual. The role of design-education is analyzed as the awareness of the designer’s social responsibility, culturological guidelines and paradigms, ecological culture, the ethic norms of the profession should be founded during training process at the higher education establishment.
