MUSICAL CULTURE OF THE EUROPEAN TOTALITARIAN SYSTEMS (BY THE EXAMPLE OF FASCIST ITALY, THE THIRD REICH, THE USSR)

Abstract. The article presents the analysis of totalitarian musical culture features by the example of the musical culture of fascist Italy, the Third Reich and the USSR. The specific manifestations of totalitarian regime influence on musical culture, which exist regardless of the national identity of culture, including the high degree of musical culture institutionalization, the features of musical language created within the framework of its compositions, certain repertoire policy and attitude to folk music are revealed.
