PRINCIPLES OF PRACTICAL REASON AND THEIR SIGNIFICANCE FOR SCIENTIFIC RATIONALITY

Abstract. The article considers the problem of the substantiation of scientific methodology basing on common sense that forms the legislation of human reason. It is shown that practical common sense consists of pragmatic principles and other cognitive attitudes of a man, which not only serve for scientific research as the basic regulations, but also participate in the selection of acquired knowledge: thus practical reason from without coordinates the activity of theoretical or speculative reason without interfering with it. Differences between the proposed conception and the system of I. Kant are revealed.
