PHILOSOPHICAL IDEAS IN A. S. KHOMYAKOV’S POETRY

Abstract. The article considers the main themes of the philosophical poetry of the Slavophile movement ideologue A. S. Khomyakov. Particular attention is given to the understanding of the poet’s role as a prophet, who knows the truth and bears this knowledge to people, and also to the philosopher’s historiosophic ideas: the understanding of Russia historical way and its significance in the history of the world civilization. For the first time the article presents the philosophical analysis of some thinker’s poems. The author comes to the following conclusion: poetry is understood by A. S. Khomyakov as the best means to convey philosophical ideas representing the major trends in the development of philosophical poetry in Russia in the XIX th century.
