EVENTS OF 1 MAY, 1912 IN NARYM EXILE (MYTHS AND REALITY)

Abstract. The author considering the assessment of significance and identifying the leadership of May protest of 1912 in Narym performs a historiographic analysis of the literature of the soviet period, autobiographic and documentary sources were under investigation. The study resulted in the identification of the degree of the involvement of V. V. Kuybyshev and Y. M. Sverdlov in organizing the action, and also the number of its participants. The author introduces a new conception of the investigated problem, which has not yet become the property of all local historians.
