FUND-FORMATIVE COMPONENT IN TOBOLSK CHURCH ARCHIVE ACTIVITY (1902-1917)

Abstract. The article considers the documenting activity of the first West Siberian church museum - Tobolsk church archive, founded under the eparchial brotherhood of Saint Demetrius of Thessaloniki. In the paper the author describes the reasons for the documenting activity of the archive; the dynamics of acquisition for the entire period of its existence (1902-1917); the composition of the collection illustrating the Orthodox historical and cultural heritage of the region; unique exhibits; and the fate of the funds after the soviet power establishment in the region.
