Zakharov Sergei Mikhailovich
I. A. Bunin Elets State University

Abstract. The article touches upon the question why under the conditions of authoritarian political systems the subjects of political process may resort to the non-violent forms of lobbying the authorities. The author supposes that laughing culture may become the most effective form of non-violent resistance. The experience of non-violent resistance in modern Ukraine testifies that such form has a quite extended social base that in many ways explains this choice.
