PRINCIPLE OF HISTORICISM IN HUMANITARIAN COGNITION

Abstract. The article investigates the principle of historicism in the context of the philosophical understanding of reality. In the act of philosophizing we try to reveal the backgrounds for the existence of thought, living consciousness; therefore studying the problem of the meaning of history as a destiny of the human being can secure the understanding of the intellectual nature of the human being. The author proposes not to eliminate the possibility of investigating history through its human dimension.
