TYPES OF POLITICAL CONSENSUS IN TRANSITIVE SOCIETIES AND PRACTICE OF STABLE DEMOCRACIES

Abstract. The article deals with the institutional prerequisites of political consensus typologization in transitive society. The author identifies the bases of the comparison of political consensus as a phenomenon of transitional and stable democracies; singles out the conditions of political consensus reach in the post-soviet society, which allow judging its specific, different from developed democracies, features; and discusses the applicability of motivational approach towards broad political consensus reach on particular issues in the conditions of stable and transitive democracies. The main possible typologies of political consensus in transitive societies on the basis of spatial, temporal and qualitative characteristics are presented.
