VIRTUAL SOCIAL NETWORKS AS PHENOMENON OF INFORMATION SOCIETY

Abstract. The article is devoted to the analysis of the phenomenon of virtual social networks in modern information society and to the identification of their features and characteristics. The author carries out the analysis of virtual social networks as an attribute of information society and a special form of communication space, reveals the essence of virtual reality in everyday life, considers the problem of society virtualization, evaluates the role and influence of computer technologies in a post-modern human’s life.
