INFORMATION ETHICS AS ONTOCENTRIC ECOLOGICAL MACRO-ETHICS IN LUCIANO FLORIDI’S PHILOSOPHY OF INFORMATION

Abstract. The article aims at studying the ethical theory of the modern European philosopher L. Floridi. Using information approach he considers information as the ultimate level of abstraction. As a result of this the boundaries between a human being and other life forms, between animate and inanimate nature, between the natural and the artificial are eliminated, and thus "ecological macro-ethics" is created. In such ontological model not only a human being but also any form of being is considered to be worthy of the observance of its interests and the own laws of development at least to the minimal degree, i.e., at the level of neutral balance.
