VIRTUAL TIME: ONTOLOGICAL ASPECT

Pilipenko Elena Aleksandrovna
Saratov State University named after N. G. Chernyshevsky

Abstract. The article considers the problem of virtual time. In this connection special ontological characteristics of virtual time are examined. It is shown that virtual time is characterized by specific durations and scales, it admits evident inversion, and it isn’t connected with corresponding virtual spaces by rigid links. The author substantiates the statement about two types of virtual times: intellectual ones, which allow constructing the models of natural or social processes, and sensuous ones, which a person experiences in virtual spaces and simulative practices.
Key words and phrases: онтология виртуального времени, виртуальное время, виртуальное пространство, интеллектуальное время, чувственное время, ontology of virtual time, virtual time, virtual space, intellectual time, sensuous time
