NOVELTIES IN BANKRUPTCY PROCEDURE OF EMPLOYER: EXTENDING EMPLOYEES’ POWERS

Abstract. The article analyses the provisions of bankruptcy law taking into account the latest changes aimed to protect the rights and legitimate interests of the employees of an insolvent employer. The author tries to evaluate the novelties from the viewpoint of their efficiency and applicability. The researcher identifies certain weak points of the statutory provisions under study and introduces her own proposals on their correction with a view to efficiently protect the employees in bankruptcy procedure. The paper is rather predictive since it contains the author’s opinion on the supposed effect of the new mechanisms, which have not been previously implemented in Russian practice.
