CONSEQUENCES OF THE EUROPEAN RATIONALITY TRANSFORMATION: IDENTITY CRISIS

Abstract. In the article the author raises a problem of the consequences of the crisis of the European culture of the XIX-XX centuries. The revival of rationalism from the way of finding the sense of being into the pragmatic means of the world transformation has created lots of problems. But one of the results of these changes is the emergence of the phenomenon of spiritual freedom. Its positive value remains unappreciated and little investigated and this provokes the next range of the cultural problems of the XXI century expressed in the crisis of identity.
