MYTHOLOGY OF THE RUSSIAN MODERNIZATION: PECULIARITIES OF POLITICAL DISCOURSE

Abstract. In the article the peculiarities of political discourse concerning the main aspects of the socio-political and economic modernization of modern Russia are considered. The author grounds the thesis that the process of modernization in modern Russia is one of the tools of myth-making, which are used by the political elite in the interests of political domination retention.
