IDEA OF TRANSCENDENT: FROM RELIGIOUS TO SECULAR TRANSCENDENCE

Abstract. The article is devoted to the conceptual and historical-culturological research of the idea of transcendent, which would introduce the idea presented in this paper as secular transcendism into the framework of secular scientific worldview. The history of the understanding of the idea of transcendent is presented within the framework of conceptual oppositions "transcendent - immanent", "actual - potential", "absolute - relative", "sacred - profane", "cognizable - non-cognizable".
