Boriskin Vladimir Vladimirovich
The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation

Abstract. The article is devoted to the specifics of perceiving the British capital by the Russian travellers of the 1850-1860s. At the same time, being dominating, these stereotypes did not exhaust the whole variety of the impressions of the Russians of Victorian London.
