HISTORICAL ASPECTS OF GLOBALIZATION AS INFORMATION PROCESS

Abstract. The article covers the features of historical cognition in the context of globalization, one of the important characteristics of which is the power interpretation of history. The paper proves that it is carried out in the interests of the subjects of globalization, i.e. the leading western countries at the expense of the Second and Third World countries, so the ideologists of globalization are not interested in the objective study of historical past. In this situation it is important to take into account the features of the history of Russia.
