FORMATION OF STUDENT BRIGADES MOVEMENT IN BASHKIRIA

Abstract. The article is devoted to the history of the formation of student construction brigades in the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic in the 60s of the last century. Basing on literature and archival sources general preconditions are analyzed and economic reasons that led to the need for students’ labour at construction sites are considered. The overall role of the mass movement of student brigades in the social-economic development of the region at that time is revealed.
