FORMATION OF SYSTEM OF DEFENSIVE-MASS WORK IN THE SOUTH TRANS-URAL REGION AT THE END OF THE 1920S - IN THE 1930S

Abstract. The article deals with the main directions of defensive-mass work at the stages of its origin, formation and development in the territory of the South Trans-Ural region during the years of the first Soviet five-year plans. The authors present the conducted work as a system that included a complex of material and technical, political and practical activities of the state, public, and defensive organizations of the South Trans-Ural region aimed at spreading military knowledge, cultivating patriotism and the readiness of the population of the region to defend the motherland.
