KOMSOMOL AS ORGANIZER OF "STRENGTHENING CONNECTION BETWEEN SCHOOL AND LIFE" (1963-1964)

Abstract. By the materials of Tambov region the peculiarities of the labor education of pupils in 1963-1964, when the reform of the local authorities was held, are examined. During this period the rural and industrial regional committees of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League were in force at the same time. The influence of the regional committees and Komsomol organizations subordinate to them on the implementation of the policy of "strengthening connection between school and life", and also the inconsistency of the results of the school reform directed towards a closer connection of studying the basics of sciences with polytechnic training and labor education are shown.
