Abstract. The article investigates the values of post-modernist artistic communication. The possibility of the philosophical interpretation of contacts between the artist and the viewer beyond the subject-object paradigm is considered. "Intersubjectivity" in the artistic sphere appears as such an interpretation. The author focuses on the causes of the value crisis of post-modernist artistic communication. The paper analyzes the specificity of higher (spiritual) and instrumental (social) values in post-modernist artistic communication, as well as the axiological aspect of mass culture.
