Abstract. The article examines the problems of the evolution and political prospects of the German Euroscepticism movement. According to the author, the outburst of the always existed anti-European moods was provoked by the economic crisis and emphasized by the immigration crisis, one of the manifestations of which became Brexit. The researcher points out that "The Alternative for Germany" party that claims to reject Euro gradually accumulates the basic provisions of radical right-wing spectrum’s programmes. The author believes that success at the European Parliament elections and the Landtag elections in 2013-2016 is an indication of upcoming cardinal changes in the German political system.
