SUNTAR ULUS IN THE YEARS OF THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR 1941-1945: REVIEWING ARCHIVAL DOCUMENTS

Abstract. The article argues for the importance of the materials of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) municipal archives as an important source to study the history of the everyday life of the Yakut Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic’s population in the years of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945. The author has analyzed the funds of the municipal archive of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) municipal district "Suntar ulus (district)" with a view to study the office documents of the local bodies of Soviet power that were formed in the troubled years of the war.
