NEW FORMS OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN SARATOV PROVINCE OF THE BEGINNING OF THE XX CENTURY AND THEIR INITIATORS

Abstract. The article is devoted to analyzing new for Saratov province of the beginning of the XX century forms to organize entrepreneurial activity - joint-stock companies and share societies. Relying on the analysis of documentary sources the paper for the first time introduces information on the quantitative and qualitative indicators of Saratov companies that adopted new activity of statutory nature into scientific use. The author provides biographical reference data on the basic founders of the joint-stock companies, who represented the elite of the Lower Volga region business world.
