Abstract. The article is devoted to the analysis of historical, socio-cultural and psychological aspects of transformation of "the enemy image" in the pre-war, war and early postwar years in the consciousness of Dagestani children. The research is conducted on the basis of the sources of a personal origin with account of their compliance with other types of historical sources. The authors consider the types of "the enemy image", and show the influence of ideological and psychological factors on the perception of the enemy in the conditions of wartime.
