POLYPHONIC TECHNIQUE IN VLADISLAV ZOLOTARYOV’S COMPOSITIONS FOR MULTI-TIMBRAL BAYAN

Abstract. The article is devoted to the creative work of Vladislav Zolotaryov, the Russian musician of the second half of the XX century. He is known as a pioneer in bayan art and a founder of the original repertoire for the multi-timbral bayan. The article discusses for the first time the polyphonic technique in the compositions of Zolotaryov. The purpose of this work is to identify the characteristics of the polyphonic techniques. The study identifies some patterns of polyphony presented at different levels of Vladislav Zolotaryov’s works.
