VISUALIZATION OF GEOLOGICAL LANDSCAPE IN THE TRADITIONAL ORNAMENTAL CULTURE OF THE EVENS OF YAKUTIA

Abstract. In the article on the basis of ethnographic and field materials the ornamental culture of the Evens of Yakutia, namely the visualization of geological landscape objects in the ornamentation of the traditional Even clothes, is analyzed in the context of the geospatial theory and the theory of cultural landscape. It is shown that ethnic-local models of the northern landscape are represented through visual-imagery perception (art, ornamentation). The conclusion is made that in the traditional ornamental culture of the Evens the singularity of the Tungus mental worldview is considered, where the elements of the geological landscape have a high mythological status.
