PLANS OF THE KING OF JORDAN HUSSEIN AND THE PALESTINIAN RESISTANCE MOVEMENT FOR RESOLVING THE PALESTINIAN PROBLEM IN 1970-1972

Abstract. This article analyzes plans of the King of Jordan Hussein and the Palestinian Resistance Movement (PRM) in relation to the future of Palestine in 1970-1972. The study highlights the main objectives of the Jordan side aimed at resolution of the Palestinian problem, gives arguments for the position of representatives of the PRM as to the project of Jordan. The paper raises questions about implementation of the idea of ??establishing an independent Palestinian state. The authors analyze features of the PRM means of strife for the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination.
