THE RIGHT TO PRIVACY AS A NECESSARY ASPECT OF HUMAN DIGNITY

Chesnokova Lesya Vladimirovna

Abstract. The article deals with the phenomenon of privacy as an integral aspect of human dignity. Presence of private space is a precondition for security, freedom, and self-respect. Normal relations in society are possible only if the right to privacy is respected. Denial of this right means non-recognition of subjectivity and autonomy of the individual, suppression of the human self.
