STATE-RELIGION RELATIONS IN THE CONTEXT OF RADICAL ISLAMIC ORGANIZATIONS ACTIVITY IN THE CENTRAL ASIAN REGION

Abstract. The article analyses state-religion relations in the context of ultra-radical Islamic organizations activity. The study focuses on the Central Asian region, which is a "cradle" of different terrorist organizations, mainly of religious orientation. Religion is considered as an instrument that under certain conditions can acquire either constructive or destructive features. At the same time, it is the state-confessional relations that act as a vector directing the development of religion according to one or another scenario.
