"IMMORTALITY" CONCEPT IN THE FOCUS OF EXISTENTIAL-ONTOLOGICAL ANALYSIS

Abstract. Every person is trying to comprehend the phenomenon of "death" and the saving notion of "immortality" in one form of rational deepening or another. Why is "immortality" of the human soul proclaimed practically in all the creeds of mankind and many philosophical traditions? Existential philosophy, in examining the issues of eschatological character, focuses primarily on the vital importance of finding an answer to the most difficult question of human life: Is death the end of a human being or not? Is there continuation of individual existence after death? What is the content of the notions "Death" and "Immortality"?
