NIHILISTIC TYPES OF PERSONALITY AND EXTREMIST CONSCIOUSNESS IN F. M. DOSTOEVSKY’S CREATIVE WORK (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE NOVEL "DEMONS")

Abstract. By the material of F. M. Dostoevsky’s novel "Demons", the article examines socio-philosophical and philosophical-anthropological aspects of nihilism as a sociocultural and spiritual basis of revolutionary underground and extremist consciousness. The authors examine the consequences of nihilistic attitude among the Russian radical left-wing intelligentsia, its interrelation with anthropological degradation, formation of a nihilistic human and extremist consciousness. The paper proposes a typologization of nihilistic personalities of revolutionary underground and analyses the structure of social relations between them.
