ORGANIZATION OF MEDICAL EXAMINATION OF OBLIGATED RESERVISTS AND RECRUITS IN THE SIBERIAN AND TRANS-BAIKAL MILITARY DISTRICTS IN THE YEARS OF THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR

Abstract. The article examines the activity of medical commissions in the regions of Western and Eastern Siberia. The author considers the order of their creation, as well as personnel, material and technical support. The difficulties and problems of the medical examination of obligated reservists and recruits during the Great Patriotic War are revealed. Special attention is paid to analysing the measures taken by the military commissariats and local healthcare bodies to improve the quality of medical examination. The importance of medical examination for staffing the front with human resources is shown.
