FORMATION OF YAKUTIA SMALL CREDIT INSTITUTIONS IN THE COURSE OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE GOVERNMENT AGRONOMIC MEASURES (1911-1914)

Abstract. The article examines the role of agronomic measures taken at the beginning of the XX century by the Department of Agriculture of the Russian Empire to raise the level of agricultural production in the country. It is shown that the implemented measures had a positive impact on the formation of small credit institutions in pre-revolutionary Yakutia. The realized agronomic measures resulted in the establishment of a small credit inspectorate and the first peasant credit partnerships within Yakutia’s territory.
