STYLE FORMATION PROCESSES IN MODERN LIVING INTERIOR DESIGN

Abstract. The article deals with style formation processes in the modern interior. The author identifies a set of factors influencing style formation in living interior design. Among them, the most important one is consumer behaviour’s impact. The consumer preferences of people as a kind of "residents of style" audience are suggested to be the primary resource of style development and self-regulation. Using the basic constructions of the area brand identification theory, the author ascertains that at the moment, there is a process of "Perm" style formation in living interior, which claims to be a consumer brand in the near future.
