Abstract. The article discusses the socio-ethical aspects of modern scientific and technical activity. The category of modern scientific and technical activity is revealed through the complex of the so-called NBIC technologies, which includes the system of nanotechnological, biotechnological, informational and cognitive research. Each of these technological directions in modern reality creates a range of such issues that concern not only practical guidelines for the improvement and implementation of technologies. These issues become an object for studying various disciplinary approaches including philosophy.
