IMPLEMENTATION OF STUDENT-CENTERED LEARNING IN THE COURSE "FOREIGN LANGUAGE FOR PROFESSIONAL PURPOSES"

Abstract. The article considers the problem of training of modern specialists, capable of continuous professional self-improvement. The author refers to the technology of student-centered learning that helps to transform studying at the institution of higher education into the process of active cognition. The attempt of the implementation of this technology in the course "English for professional purposes" by means of author’s tutorial is presented.
