LEVEL OF DEVELOPMENT OF COMPANY "KOKOVIN AND BASOV" IN FUR TRADE IN THE NORTH-EAST OF SIBERIA IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE XIX - AT THE BEGINNING OF THE XX CENTURY

Abstract. In the article the author makes an attempt to reveal the level of the development of M. A. Kokovin and I. A. Basov’s enterprise in the sphere of fur trade within the territory of north-eastern Siberia during the period of the intensive development of capitalist relations. The author concludes that the annual turnovers of the trading house "Kokovin and Basov" from operations with the Siberian furs at the beginning of the XX century reached considerable amounts and this allowed referring the partnership to the category of companies with large capital in fur trade. The author analyses the dynamics of the fur business development of the merchants Kokovin and Basov and identifies the factors, which influenced the formation of the independent status of the company in the sphere of fur trade.
