Abstract.
The author presents the analysis of F. Sologub’s unpublished translations of Ch. Baudelaire’s “Little Poems in Prose”, stored in the writer’s archive in the Institute of Russian Literature (Pushkin House), which give the idea about one of the aspects of his versatile translation activity, describes the time of the translations creation, analyzes the texts with respect to their adequacy to the originals, and reveals the reasons of Sologub-translator address to Ch. Baudelaire’s poetry at a certain stage in his own creative activity.
