Abstract.
The article is devoted to analyzing the members of verbal paradigm “to love / to fall in love / to care / to cherish” as the representants of the concept LOVE in the work by Grigory Kotoshikhin “On Russia during the Reign of Alexey Mikhailovich”. The author analyzes the specifics of using these words in the text representing the Russian linguistic worldview in the reign of Tsar Alexey Mikhailovich. The paper shows that the certain units lost their relevance in the modern Russian language. Relying on the analysis of the relative verb data the researcher identifies their interpretational field associated not only with the personal but also with the social relations including commodity-money.
