Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of the prevention and resolution of conflicts in the communication of social workers and recipients of social services while rendering domiciliary social services for senior citizens. The author considers typical conflict situations, their causes, specificity and principles, conditions and the methods of the conflict-free communication of social workers and recipients of services. It is shown that for the prevention of conflict situations in communication the professional training of social workers is required.
